Description
Bust Image of Max Burkhalter. He is a long active union worker, and will start his fourth term as president of Local 208 of the Oil Workers International Union (CIO) when officers are installed for 1951 on January 1st. Installation ceremonies will be held at the local's meeting hall, 610 1/2 N. Sylvania. Burkhalter, who resides at 928 S. Henderson, is also a delegate from Tarrant County to the Texas Social and Legislative Conference. He is photographed wearing a pinstriped suit and a floral tie. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition December 27, 1950.
