Description
These two young patients from Gonzales Warm Springs Hospital were thrilled at their first view of the Star-Telegram's Christmas tree in Burk Burnett Park. Lee Hawthorne, 11, son of Mr. and Mrs.. Knox B. Hawthorne, 514 W. 3rd, and Loretta Gallier, 11, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. O. A. Burton, 3704 Galvez, are polio victims home for Christmas and later returned to the hospital. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 23, 1950.
