Description
Image of Mrs. Maurice Singleton, 317 Ridgewood Road, pictured with a perfect gingerbread cottage that she made for a recent party. Everything about the cottage is edible. the snow is sugar; the roof, candied lemon peel; the animals and sides of the cottage, finger cookies; and the fence, peppermint sticks. It took 14 hours to make. Best of all, this gingerbread house has no evil witch. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition December 27, 1950.
