Nine Southwest Conference football players were at the North Fort Worth Baptist Church banquet for city football players. Left to right are: Reverend James N. Morgan; Bob Vann, Southern Methodist University (SMU); Bill Moorman Texas Christian University (TCU); John Naylor, Bill Georges and Ben Tompkins, Texas; Clarence Marable and Gilbert Bartosh, TCU; Harold Riley, Baylor; and Max Eubank TCU. All of the players made short speeches. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 15, 1950.
