Description
A native of Calvert, R. A. (Uncle Bob) Weatherby was the son of Mr. and Mrs.. M. N. Weatherby. He was a 78-year-old cowboy, who as a boy attended the original Cowboys Christmas Ball, and as usual was back for the 17th annual four-night re-enactment at Pioneer Hall. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 20, 1950.
