    Exchange Club Member Ray O. Shaffer, center receives congratulations from Auctioneer J. A. (Tiny) Gooch, right, and W. Ridley Wheeler, outgoing club president, after his final bid of $550 earned him a football autographed by Texas Christian University squad men. Shaffer's money, plus about $2500 more from other club members, will be split by the Goodfellows and Santa Pals Christmas funds. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 14, 1950.
