A red painted stove edge with decorated Christmas star sugar cookies and holly, left, won a blue ribbon for Mrs.. John J. Flood Jr. in a Christmas Show and Tea staged by the Garden Club Junior League at the home of Mr. Ernest Closuit. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition December 14, 1950.
