Susan Kay Ziegler, 9, and her dog, Buffer, stand guard over the glittering tree which had 1,324 ornaments- 307 different kinds- and 200 lights, plus the six lights on the tip-top star. Susan Kay is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. H. A. Ziegler, 3716 Lenox. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 25, 1950.
