Top award in the Boys' Fat Steer Show of the 1950 Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show is Peanuts, fed and exhibited by Willard Jordan of Mason, shown with the heavyweight Hereford. The chunky animal stood first in its class then was adjudged champion of its breed before winning the grand championship.
