Police Captain Karl Howard, left, presents the little of ownership papers to Radio Patrolman J. M. Latham, on an automobile given by Latham's fellow officers to replace the car that was demolished in a traffic accident in which the recipient suffered a broken leg. Watching are Latham's daughter, Jamye, and son, Mike. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 11, 1950.
