Among the fascinated admirers of the Carswell Air Base Band when it played a concert at the Star-Telegram Christmas tree in Burk Burnett Park were Barbara, 4, and John T. Hairston Junior, 6, bass horn playing of Staff Sergent James M. McKinney of Mineral Wells. Taking a momentary rest in the bckground is Pfc. Russell L. Jackson of Cincinnati. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 7, 1950.
