Description
Making a quick tour of U. S. Corps Engineers projects in the Fort Worth-Dallas area, Major General Lewis A. Pick, second from left, expressed surprise at the progress of work at the Grapevine and Benbrook dams since his last visit here 13 months ago. Braving the cold winds atop the Grapevine Dam with him were, left to right, Colonel. Louis W. Prentiss, John M. Foutus of the Trinity Improvement Association, Colonel W. E. Potter and Colonel Delbert B. Freeman. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 7, 1950.
