Patricia Thomas, 11, of 2817 Murphy, holds the picture that awakened her when it fell to the floor and alrted the house hold to a firs. Patricia led Fredricka, her 9-year-old sister shown with her, and her grandmother, Mrs. Minnie McBride, to safety. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition December 5, 1950.
