Description

Image of Colonel Joe E. Davis, who is the seventh officer for the Fort Worth school system's ROTC program. Colonel Davis is the chief of the ROTC training program for the Texas Military District announced after a surprise visit. The new officer's identity had not been determined, but he will be one who has been wounded in the Korean war. Colonel Davis is photographed with Major Paul J. Woods. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition January 3, 1951.
