Mrs.. D. P. Shore, and her West Texas landscape which won first place in the recent painting contest sponsored by the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs. Her canvas was entered by the Social Book Club of Lott, where she and her husband spend summers on their ranch, and won first place in the Fourth District. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 10, 1950.
