Civis Opera's "The Bat," in English version, drew throngs of formally dressed music-lovers at its opening performance and did so again at Will Rogers Memorial Auditorium. In the photo, Mrs. Loren E. Taylor, back left, and her daughters, Miss Janet Taylor, front left, attended the opera accompanied by Frank Rawlings, and Mrs. Ruth Hare, right. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition December 1, 1950.
