Leaders in Fort Worth's 1951 Community Chest drive celebrated the campaign completion when they recieved Oscars for their work. Thomas L. Yates, center, general campaign chairman, is presenting the awards to Lieutenant Thomas P. Harrison, left, chairman of the armed forces committee, which brought in more than $15,000, and R. Mayo Bowen, chairman of the advance gifts committee, which collected more than $300,000 of the $584,037 total. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 28, 1950.
