These 4-H members were with a group of 33 assembled to leave for Chicago and the National 4-H Congress. Lloyd West of Hall County, left, and Troy McNeil of Flydada, right, showed Gerry Rogers of Sweetwater, second from left, and Billie Gene Walker of Big Spring, the proper crush for a Texas hat worn in the big city. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 24, 1950.
