Description
Carswell Air Base firefighters are shown in action at the scene of the crash of the B-36 six miles west of Crowley. The Carswell crash truck, with hoist, stands by the pickup remnants of the plane which was studied for possible cause of the crash in which two airmen lost their lives and 14 parachuted to safety. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 23, 1950.
