Description
The nitro bomb removed from the auto of Leroy (Tincy) Eggleston and set off on his farm by Air Force demolition experts blasted a hole three feet deep and four and one-half feet wide. Looking at the crater are, left to right, City Detective Lieutenant O. R. Brown, Homicide Detective A. C. Howerton, Cheif Deputy Sheriff A. B. Carter, City Detective Terry Wood, Carole Ann Eggleston, 9 (Eggleston's daughter), Air Force Captain John Alden, Air Force Lieutenant Richard Luck and Eggleston. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 22, 1950.
