Description
While Aggie Glen Lippman struggles in the grasp of a Rice tackler after an apparent four-yard gain, Umpire Bailey McElreath points to End Clinton Gwin (83) as an offender against the illegal-use-of-hands rule. the gain was wiped out and the Aggies assessed 15 yards, in the game at College Station. Gwin, unaware that he has fouled, looks for another foe. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 19, 1950.
