Committee chairmen who were in charge of arrangements for the 35th Assembly Ball held at River Crest Country Club are shown in the setting from which nine debutantes made their bows. The chairmen are, left to right, Mmes. Bert K. Smith Jr., Roger B. Owings, W. A. Schmid and C. D. Williamson. Mrs. E. P. Van Zandt was chairman of the refreshments committee. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 15, 1950.
