Stripling, center, who was present at the 35th Assembly Ball when her granddaughter, Mrs. Luckett Fortson presided as president, and her great-granddaughter, Miss Kay Fortson was a debutante, and her granddaughter, Miss Marianne Stripling, also was a debutante. Left at right are: Miss Marianne Stripling, Mrs. Stripling Stark, a past-president of The Assembly and daughter of Mrs. Stripling; Mrs. W. C. Stripling, Mrs. Luckett Fortson, daughter of Mrs. Stark, and Miss Kay Fortson.
