Dr. J. L. Ward, left, president of Decatur Baptist College for 43 years, is shown talking at the Baptist General Convention while Reverend Otis Strickland looks on. Reverend Strickland succeeded Dr. Ward when he was inaugurated at the college. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 10, 1950.
