Description
Although it looks longer than stock models, this custom-built car is only 14 feet long and stands a mere 3 feet, 9 inches high. The builder, Jack Joerns, Convair employee, said its special engine will develop 175 horse power at 5,200 RPM. It had not been tested for speed. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 14, 1950.
