Description
Texas' Ben Procter and Southern Methodist University's Gene (Chicken) Roberts (43), formerly of Masonic Home, leap for pass from Byron Townsend, but only tipped the ball, allowing Ponies' Val Joe Walker, not shown, to intercept in end zone in first quarter of game between Texas and SMU. Texas went on to win, 23-20. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition November 6, 1950.
