    Description

Leo R. Kent of 2525 University Dr., S., plucked one of the 45 bananas which grew and ripened on a tree on his backyard. This tree was given him by a friend and failed to grow when Kent first planted it. It was dug up and put under the house. Finding it alive later on, Kent planted the tree again, and this was part of the result. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 9, 1950.
