This photo was taken on what would have been Will Rogers' 71st birthday. C. R. Smith is at the microphones dedicating the statue which was given by Amon Carter. The platform guests on the front row from left to right are: Mrs. James B. Rogers, Amon Carter, Senator Robert S. Kerr, Mrs. Amon Carter, Ewing Halsell, Electra Waggoner Biggs, Governor Roy J. Turner, Keith Bretz, Jimmie Rogers, and Dr. Hodges McKnight.
