Description

Blondie, a three-year-old Boxer, seriously awaits the outcome of a medical checkup given by Dr. D. W. Frye, of Haltom City Animal Hospital, to find out if she is in shape to fly overseas to rejoin her master, Sgt. Burl E. Pointer in Germany. Pointer brough the dog with him to Texas from Germany when he was assigned to Fort Bliss. He returned to Germany and sent for Mrs. Pointer, who will fly Blondie over by American Overseas Airlines. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 24, 1950.
