This aerial view shows Fort Worth's skyline framed by the V made by the East-West Expressway's first unit, right, interlocking with Camp Bowie, left, near Horne. Construction crews are completing gravel base and sub base on the unit which extends eastward along W. Rosedale. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 10, 1950.
