Image shows a bust shot of Hiram Broiles, he is chief of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) chief of international district office in San Francisco, California. He is coordinating airlift that sent men, guns and equipment in the Korean War. Broiles is visiting his mother, Mrs. F. W. Broiles at 1506 Cooper. He is taking a two-week course of study in new air navigation aids at Will Rogers Field, Oklahoma City. He is shown seated on couch with unidentified dog. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 29, 1950.
