Tiny Charles Chambers Jr. of Alvord turns the recruiter in his bed at the City-County Hospital's polio ward. The big-eyed little fellow was treated at the hospital for polio for nearly four months. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 23, 1950.
