Description
Boy Scout troops of Handley and Caddo Village were given title to the 38-year-old Handley depot by Texas and Pacific Railway. Presentation was by G. D. Tatum, left, T&P general agent in Fort Worth. Acceptance was by W. G. Smith, Scout commissioner, center, and W. B. Grove, right, chairman of the building committee for the Scouts. The materials in the depot will be used to build two Scout houses. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 26, 1950.
