With hundreds of Golden Gloves fans forming a format, Sterling Pruitt (left) and Reuben Enriquez battled for finals berth in the novice flyweight division. Pruitt, Panther Boys Club entrant, earned the decision over National Guard foe in the Regional bout. The referee was Jimmy Neace. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 22, 1950.
