Private officer Robert L. Beasley from Savanna, III, is shown getting chevrons sewed on at the Fort Worth Armed Forces Center. Mrs. Hettie Yielding, junior hostess, left, and Mrs. John Hume of 1613 Virginia Place, spend a lot of time along with other volunteers in mending and sewing chevrons on service men's uniforms free of charge.
