Description

Thomas Wooten, 18, has been given duty as a fireman apprentice on a destroyer in the South Pacific. The former Polytechnic High School student, son of Mr. and Mrs. Velt Wooten of 4319 Avenue H, entered the Navy in June. A young man smiling wearing a navy uniform and hat. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 17, 1950.
