Description

Members of the Airports Advisory Committee of the Civil Aeronautics Administration and other aviation leaders at the opening of a committee meeting. Seated left to right are: G. D. Albrecht, John Berry of Cleveland, Amon Carter, Donald W. Nyrop, A. B. Curry of Miami, and John N. Lavin. Standing behind them from left to right is: W. M. Robertson, E. S. Hensley, Don W. Martin, Robert Cook, Louis R. Inwood, Walter E. Betsworth, Arthur C. Hyde, R. W. F. Schmidt, Hervey F. Law, and C. F. Horne. The men are at the opposite side of the room from the photographer. They are behind a large dining table decorated with rounded name plates with the inscription "Fort Worth, where the West begins." The men are all wearing suits and ties.
