Description
Looking over mud-caked cans and bottles in a storeroom cupboard of his grocery on White Settlement Road is T. E. Jordan, victim of the 1949 flood. When the flood control program for which $7,000,000 in bonds will be voted on, is completed, Jordan says he'll be "no more afraid of flood here than I would be at the courthouse". Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 24, 1950.
