Description
This 30-inch direct-view television "picture tube", being steadied by Truett Kimzey, is the first such "king size" product to reach Texas. The evolution of TV cathode ray tubes is illustrated by those on the counter, beginning with the once-popular seven-incher at left and progressing through 10, 12, 16 and 19-inch diameters to the big 30. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 15, 1950.
