Mayor Deen, seated signed documents setting aside October 19 as 1950 Credit Union Day in Fort Worth as leaders of local credit unions looked on. With him were, left to right, O. W. Dunn of the telephone company credit union, Vance Jones of the Postal Transportation Service group and Tom Fitzgerald, representing the Texas Employment Commission credit union. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 13, 1950.
