Tommy Tatum, utility man and assistant manager to Bobby Bragan of the Fort Worth baseball team, reports to Fort Sam Houston October 20, 1950 for active duty with the Air Force. Tatum, 31, served four years as a staff sergeant in World War II. He was a member of the reserves. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram morning edition, October 10, 1950.
