Luther W. Pope, Botanic garden supervisor, shows Margaret McPherren one of the white Dahlias seen by several hundred visitors during Dahlia Day at Botanic Garden in Forst Park. Margaret was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen McPherren of 6001 Karen Circle. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram morning edition, October 9, 1950.
