Description
Mrs. Ruth Vorhies, for whom the Good Will House is being built, helps entertain her son, Bennie, by autographing the cast on his broken leg. They lived with a friend at 4409 Morris. The other children lived elsewhere. Mrs. Vorhies' home burned and her eldest son, who was supporting the family, was killed in a truck crash. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram morning edition, October 7, 1950.
