C. E. Gramm, 78, is shown with some of the 207 objects he whittled from one 17-foot tree. The part-time hobby, which extended 22 years, was ended. Gramm had only a few scraps of wood. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram evening edition, October 11, 1950.
