T. M. Gooch Jr., left, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce fire prevention committee, thanks Mayor Deen at City Hall for declaring the week of October 8 as Fire Prevention Week. The proclamation was brought to city hall by five firemen on a fire truck with sirens screaming. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram evening edition, September 27, 1950.
