John Santerre of Route 2, Grand Prairie, is shown getting those last-minute touches to a good Scout uniform just before getting his Life award in the Boy Scouts along with his sons, Roy, left. Marcel, right, Roy's brother, received his first-class rank at the same court of honor of the Arrowhead district. Published in the Fort Worth Star - Telegram evening edition, October 3, 1950.
