Description
Important in the overall scheme of treatment of mental patients at the USPHS Hospital is occupational therapy, which began in classes directed by Miss Lenore Brannon, left. Finger painting, weaving, drawing and pottery help retain a man's coordination of mind and hand, open the road to more useful occupations and help socialize better. With Miss Brannon is Psychiatric Aide Aldo C. Thompson, who helps her demonstrate how she would work with a patient at the potter's wheel. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 25, 1950.
