Description
North Side's John Walker closes eyes and punches Jack Crowley of Poly on the nose in first round of their high school lightweight bout at Will Rogers Coliseum. Walker's blind bombing lost its accuracy later, however, and Crowley earned the decision in fast bout. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 20, 1950.
