Picture here is Mrs. Alma Hoffman, bust shot, charged with the murder of Oran B. Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman, a 36-year-old carpenter, was shot from behind three times with a.22 caliber repeater rifle as he sat in the kitchen of his home. Mrs. Hoffman told investigating officers the killing was motivated by Mr. Hoffman beating and choking her nearly unconscious the previous evening.
