Gene Boyd (31), Abilene's 175-pound back, is brought to a halt on his own 33-yard line after a 23-yard run back on a kickoff in the second quarter of the game at Farrington Field. Tackler grasping him from behind is Arlington Heights' John Fox. At left, helping, is Kenneth Harlow, while Charles Spencer comes up at right. The Jackets on a 33-21 thriller in the first game.
